MIDWEEK SHOW
Manchester born and bred but I have lived on the Fylde coast for the last forty years.
After a short spell in "industry" I have worked in education for the rest of the time. Every day was a learning day. Although now retired, I have more to do than when I was working.
My Top 3 Songs…
How can you distill a life time of music and memories into just three songs? Cometh the moment, cometh the song. and besides, how do I know that I have not yet come across a "go to song"?
What I love most about being on the radio is…
It's the perfect place for me to show off my face - it was made for radio.
Discovering new music and sharing it with my listener.
Continuing to make each day a learning day.

THE WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON SHOW
From the late sixties I have been adding songs and artists to an ever increasing list of discovery, constantly updated from the early days of rock n' roll to the present. Dylan, Cohen and Bowie at the outset, but as we all know, its a mighty long way down Rock 'n Roll. I'm still enjoying the journey.
My Top 3 Songs…
The Smokey Life - Leonard Cohen
Lived In Bars - Cat Power
Things Behind The Sun - Nick Drake
(3 for today but not necessarily tomorrow)
What I love most about being on the
radio is...
Presenting music to a wider audience.

SUNDAY AFTERNOONS WITH JOE
Born and brought up in Blackpool, the Fylde Coast is certainly where I call home!
Having started acting at the age of 10, I've spent 10 years travelling around the UK performing to a variaty of audiences from the age of 1 all the way up to 100!
Now on FCR Digital, I enjoy playing the well know classic tracks, but also exploring the lesser known music that is equally as enjoyable!
My Top 3 Songs…
Earth, Wind and Fire - September
Billy Joel - Scenes from an Italian Resturant
Chic - Le Freak
What I love most about being on the radio is…
I just love interacting with the listeners and bringing them the music not only that I love, but what they love too!
It is great when a listener requests a song that I have never heard before, but when I do take a listen, I love it! That's what radio is all about!

It's fantastic interviewing people that you love to listen to and meeting new people.
It's absolutely brilliant listening to new and unknown songs and to meet the artists that have created those songs and to listen to their stories on what inspired them to create their music.
